Lord of the Rings theme Birthday Cake

This gorgeous ‘hobbit house’ theme cake was created from a very large 10” round cake with edible decorations. Everything was made from a combination of fondant, modelling chocolate, pastiallage, chocolate, and edible moss.

To feed a large number of guests, a separate ‘kitchen’ cake was supplied. This is usually a cake the guests don’t get to see, but when its so pretty, you’ll be proud to have it on display as well.

Both were lemon cakes with lemon curd and swiss meringue buttercream fillings, encased in delicious white chocolate ganache.
